Captivate by Carrie Jones

Target Audience: Teens/Young Adults
Genre: Paranormal Romance/Fantasy

Captivate (Need, #2)First of all, i'd just like to point out that this is NOT just another paranormal romance novel, but is a lot more complex (not to mention frightening and suspenseful).

Captivate picks up where Need ended. The evil pixies are still locked up in the woods, along with her Pixie dad and Zara and Nick are still together. To add complications, there are a lot of Pixies now descending on the area, a few of which are King's trying to claim the former King's territory and make Zara their Queen.

Astley is one of these Pixies, but is he as different as he claims to be? or is he simply trying to trick Zara into becomming his Queen?
Regardless of whether you usually read Faerie stories or paranormal romances, there is no denying that this book is very well written, romantic, scary, heartbreaking and yet laugh out loud funny in some parts.

The ending will leave you longing to know what happens next, especially with such a sad, yet hopeful, and very dramatic cliff-hanger that will leave some readers a little shocked (depending on how you think).
I don't want to write much more as i've also have the review to Need on here and i don't want to be to detailed in case you haven't read it yet.
Anyway, it's very good. So go read! Bring on part three!
